Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including detailed assessments and collection of pertinent medical history, to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Communicate assessment findings and proposed treatment strategies clearly to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on patient evaluations and continually assess their effectiveness, modifying plans as necessary to align with patient progress and healthcare changes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, providing insights and recommendations regarding joint patient care and necessary modifications to treatment plans.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care with a focus on ensuring a seamless transition for patients, maintaining timely communication and thorough documentation throughout the care continuum.
• Utilize effective time management strategies to meet productivity expectations while maintaining thorough documentation and performance metrics that comply with current healthcare regulations.
• Actively participate in marketing initiatives to promote healthcare access and community awareness, helping to foster relationships with local physicians and community organizations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by pursuing continuing education opportunities and serving as a clinical instructor for students, contributing to the education of future therapists.
• Champion excellent customer service standards to heighten patient satisfaction and accessibility to care, collaborating with the team to identify and eliminate barriers to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with a diverse population of patients suffering from orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in an orthopedic setting.
• Current CPR Certification.

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
