Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist with us, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, including reviewing medical history and performing functional assessments.
• Developing and communicating individualized treatment plans that encompass patient and family involvement, setting clear recovery goals.
• Implementing various therapeutic protocols tailored to the patient's evolving needs, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities.
• Consulting with other healthcare professionals as required, updating care plans based on interdisciplinary feedback and patients' progress.
• Monitoring and documenting patient treatment, including discerning changes in condition, necessary modifications to care, and ensuring all records reflect a clear picture of patient progress.
• Participating actively in discharge planning and facilitating a smooth transition to after-care when appropriate.
• Managing your schedule effectively while fulfilling productivity expectations and meeting compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engaging in hospital and community-based marketing initiatives to promote accessibility to our services.
• Encouraging the pursuit of continuing education for your own professional growth and serving as a mentor and clinical instructor for students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those suffering from chronic pain or musculoskeletal disorders. As a Physical Therapist here, you will be expected to understand the unique challenges presented by these conditions and work towards restoring mobility and enhancing the health and well-being of each patient. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Certification from the American Heart Association in BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Compensation and Benefits
