Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and tools necessary for providing top-tier orthopedic physical therapy. The facility features spacious treatment rooms, rehabilitation equipment, and communal spaces designed for functional training and recovery. Your schedule will be consistent, with work hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals and functional limitations.
• Provide hands-on, effective orthopedic treatment utilizing a variety of modalities, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, recovery expectations, and strategies for home exercises to promote continued progress.
• Monitor patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary based on clinical evaluations and patient feedback.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient encounters using EMR software, specifically Web PT, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and fitness trainers, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere dedicated to recovery.
• Implement fitness and wellness programs that empower patients to achieve optimal physical functioning and prevent future injuries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. This includes individuals of all ages, from active athletes to elderly clients needing support for mobility impairments. You will use a patient-centered approach, ensuring that each person feels valued and their unique journey respected as they regain their independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings associated with your professional license.
• Strong competency in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise program development.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate and efficient documentation.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy practice standards and trends, evidenced by ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload effectively.
• Experience in utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care outcomes and optimize rehabilitation protocols.
• Familiarity with implementing fitness and wellness programs tailored to diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, based on your experience and skills.
