Work Environment\n

As a remote-based organization, Belfry Counseling Center utilizes telehealth technology to deliver care effectively and flexibly. While our location operates Monday through Saturday, our therapists are encouraged to create their schedules between 10 to 40 hours of sessions per week, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Our in-house support staff takes care of insurance credentialing and management, allowing our therapists to focus entirely on providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to determine therapeutic needs.

• Provide graduate-level clinical interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities, tailored to client goals and treatment plans.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary care plans, ensuring effective communication through patient documentation and participation in meetings.

• Manage casework for assigned clients, establishing partnerships with community organizations and healthcare providers to facilitate holistic care.

• Assure timely and ethical documentation of clinical notes and treatment progress, maintaining compliance with departmental standards.

• Regularly participate in professional development sessions and supervision, enhancing skills and clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work with a diverse population, addressing a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal issues, and adjustment disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds and life experiences, presenting unique challenges that require tailored therapeutic approaches. The therapist will play an essential role in helping clients articulate their concerns, set treatment goals, and navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Licensed by the state of California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, delivering direct therapeutic services.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required, with advanced degrees in social work, clinical psychology, or counseling preferred.
