Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to support clients in their journeys toward stress reduction and improved well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, mental health challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their individual needs.

• Facilitate mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and effective breathing techniques during individual therapy sessions to enhance emotional regulation and self-awareness.

• Lead group workshops and educational sessions that focus on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and effective resilience-building strategies.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to create integrated treatment plans that incorporate mindfulness into holistic patient care.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and personalized treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practice and continued professional development to deepen your expertise in mindfulness methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated proficiency in applying mindfulness techniques within therapeutic settings.

• Excellent communication skills, with a talent for creating a calming and supportive therapeutic atmosphere that fosters client openness and trust.

Compensation and Benefits\n
