Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM. Contract lengths of 36 or 48 hours per week accepted, with assignments ranging from 13 to 26 weeks. Every other weekend required. No call coverage.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit caring for a diverse patient population including diabetes, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, CHF, surgical recovery, and more
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 across all shifts
• 24-hour orientation with support from interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• Floating to other medical-surgical units may be required
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; holiday coverage required

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or Compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIHSS certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Competency with Epic charting system preferred
• Must successfully pass EKG testing prior to assignment start
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
