Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that encompass patients' psychological status and the influence of co-existing medical conditions on their mental well-being.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate both psychiatric evaluations and healthcare needs, focusing on improving both mental and physical health outcomes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing empirically-supported therapeutic techniques tailored to meet diverse patient needs.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive coordinated and effective treatment, resulting in optimal outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services, lending immediate support and guidance during mental health emergencies to clients in distress.

• Educate patients about the connections between their mental health and physical health, empowering them to take an active role in managing their conditions.

• Maintain rigorous documentation and records in accordance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards to ensure patient confidentiality and organizational compliance.

As a licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work alongside patients who require specialized care due to the interplay between their psychological and physical health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is essential to proceed in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
