Senior Partnership Accountant

Responsibilities Our Kforce client, a Global Professional Services Organization located in the Saint Louis, MO area is seeking an experienced Senior Partnership Accountant to support a sophisticated partnership accounting function within a large, international professional services environment. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership, support partner financial operations, and contribute to process improvements across a global organization. The client offers great benefits, 401(k), and a hybrid schedule (Wednesday is a mandatory day in the office). Key Responsibilities: Calculate and process partner compensation and distributions Prepare partner financial statements and account summaries Maintain and reconcile partner capital accounts, including capital contributions and repayments Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis related to partner remuneration Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations Conduct financial onboarding and offboarding discussions with partners Assist with audits, financial reporting, and accounting inquiries Partner with leadership to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency Provide cross-functional support to ensure continuity of critical accounting activities Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred but not required 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a professional services, legal, public accounting, or partnership environment Experience with partner compensation, capital accounting, or partnership accounting strongly preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong xlookups, VLOOKUP's, pivot table Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-starter capable of working independently Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
