Work Environment

This position operates from an outpatient office with a focus on providing home care services. As a Physical Therapist with us, you will have the flexibility to choose your own work hours, creating a schedule that promotes work-life balance while ensuring our patients receive timely and effective care, typically between Monday and Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from various conditions including injuries, surgeries, or chronic illnesses, assessing their mobility and physical needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as exercise, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking responses to treatment and adapting plans based on patients' evolving needs.
• Conduct regular re-evaluations to redefine therapeutic goals and alter treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring that each patient's care plan is individualized.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about rehabilitation techniques, assistive devices, and strategies to promote safe ambulation and self-care.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices by participating in workshops, professional networks, and continual learning opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric clients, encompassing a variety of diagnoses and rehabilitation requirements. Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred; however, candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and relevant experience may also be considered.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy, enabling practice in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for effective patient interactions and documentation.
• Computer proficiency for patient record management and collaborative care coordination.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is highly desirable to enhance patient outcomes through applied knowledge and skill.
