Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial patient intakes with a focus on diagnostic and functional evaluations, providing tailored recommendations for treatment goals and plans.

• Collaborate closely with primary care providers to bring awareness to mental health and psychosocial issues, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

• Develop and execute brief, effective therapeutic interventions for patients requiring mental health services.
\n
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, assessing status and making necessary adjustments to treatment approaches.
\n
• Create and implement relapse prevention strategies, working to help patients maintain mental stability over time.
\n
• Identify patients at risk and collaborate in developing action plans to prevent deterioration in their mental health.
\n
• Coordinate health services delivery, linking patients with other treatment providers as needed, ensuring patient care continuity.
\n
• Document patient progress and diagnostic information in accordance with established guidelines while maintaining compliance with privacy regulations.

• Assist patients in adhering to medical treatments initiated by primary providers and offer coping strategies for managing treatment-related challenges.

• Engage in ongoing consultation with clinic management regarding behavioral services and contribute to program evaluation and outcomes assessment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors serve a diverse client base, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with children, families, and adults, adapting therapeutic approaches to suit the unique needs of each patient and fostering collaborative therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Oregon.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, developmental psychopathology, and therapeutic techniques including family and group psychotherapy.

• Excellent communication skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues.
\n
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a primary care setting or with integrated behavioral health services is highly valued.

• Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred to enhance patient communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 87,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
