Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, addressing both pre-crisis and crisis situations, while utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Timely and accurate completion of all required clinical documentation, meeting state and federal regulatory standards.

• Implement and monitor evidence-based screening tools to assist in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions as determined by the clinical team.

• Work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams to craft and execute positive behavior support plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Actively participate in all licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to ongoing quality improvement within the clinic.
\n
• Serve as a liaison to external service systems, including state agencies and community partners, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
\n
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels to meet contract standards and enhance community relations.
\n
• Network with local, state, federal, and private agencies to promote our programs and to identify potential partnerships and funding opportunities.

• Engage in professional development by attending relevant conferences, training sessions, and statewide meetings to stay abreast of best practices.

• Foster and promote the agency's mission, values, and principles while performing other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at WeCare, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals experiencing mental health challenges, recovering from substance use disorders, and requiring support due to developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.

• Current and independent LMHC license from the state of Florida.

• Strong communication skills and an ability to articulate professional thoughts effectively.
