Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand the needs of individuals, families, and groups, tailoring interventions based on clinical judgment and best practices.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities to address a variety of mental health issues.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues during team meetings and patient rounds to discuss assessment outcomes and develop interdisciplinary care plans, ensuring holistic support for clients.

• Utilize clinical documentation systems to track treatment progress and maintain clear communication regarding patients’ treatment plans and outcomes.

• Engage in case management, coordinating with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive care that addresses the diverse needs of clients.

• Complete all documentation promptly and ethically, adhering to the department’s policies and procedures to maintain compliance and quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and a range of other mental health challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and as a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the chance to tailor your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each person, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Must be fully licensed as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the State of New Jersey.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Availability to work between 10 to 40 hours per week, ensuring flexibility and commitment to client care.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, we highly value candidates with experience in outpatient settings, familiarity with diverse therapeutic techniques, and a commitment to continued professional development. Additional certifications or specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care or child/adolescent therapy will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
