Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs, enabling the development of effective and individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and others tailored to patient needs.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups designed to tackle common mental health challenges while promoting community and peer support.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other interdisciplinary team members to enhance coordinated and holistic care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and direction.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and essential community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing an electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to foster continuous growth and improvement.

• Stay well-informed of the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health therapy, integrating new knowledge into practice to enhance patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to diverse populations is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and active listening.

• Sound judgment and commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications necessary for telehealth therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
