Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at our clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, developing strong rapport, and maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards throughout the therapeutic process.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, address any challenges, and facilitate discharge planning when appropriate.

• Creating, implementing, and regularly updating person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

• Documenting case notes and maintaining up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate the mental health needs and history of new clients.

• Conducting a set number of individual therapy sessions each week, ensuring quality care and effective treatment interventions.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions to reflect on practice and enhance clinical skills.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive treatment and intervention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working primarily with youth clients, which requires both specialized knowledge and a robust skill set to navigate the complexities of adolescent mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
