Specializing in internal medicine and sports therapy, our facility encompasses a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot therapy space designed to foster optimal recovery. Work Environment

You will work onsite in a technologically advanced rehabilitation facility equipped with cutting-edge tools and resources to aid in patient recovery. Our supportive environment is designed for collaboration, featuring an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). You will benefit from a structured schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent work-life balance while fully engaging in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their objectives and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a structured caseload, providing effective treatment to one patient per hour to ensure personalized care.
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions focused on restoring mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Design fitness and wellness programs that cater to individual patient needs, promoting a holistic approach to recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and coordinate the best possible care strategies for patients.
• Monitor patient progress, reassess treatment plans as needed, and maintain meticulous documentation of all services rendered.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, inspiring them to achieve their therapeutic goals and maximize their functional abilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve consist primarily of individuals engaged in orthopedic rehabilitation, seeking to regain strength and mobility after various physical challenges. This includes post-operative recovery, injury rehabilitation, and ongoing management of chronic conditions. Our focus is on delivering personalized care that prioritizes the distinct needs of each patient while ensuring their active participation in the recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• A clean professional record without any board actions or disciplinary measures.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques, particularly in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Experience in developing and implementing structured exercise regimens tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software platforms such as WebPT to effectively manage patient records and treatment documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
