Overview
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Sonora, California. Start date: 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,248–$2,291 per week. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). Work setting is an acute-care environment with an emergency department role delivering direct patient care and coordinating triage and treatment for trauma and emergency patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or patient group according to standards of care and the nursing process.
- Triage, treat and support trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, document outcomes, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the medical team; participate in handoffs and care planning to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; eligible for California RN licensure
- ER nursing experience preferred; ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Ability to work nights and perform duties in an ER setting
