Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate each patient’s mental health status, identifying strengths and needs that will guide therapeutic interventions.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual patient situations.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurses, and other health professionals to create and maintain a coordinated care approach, facilitating optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and prescribed medications to empower decision-making.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities and facilitating therapeutic progress.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, ensuring alignment with patient goals and preferences.

• Serve as an advocate for patients, helping them navigate the complex mental health system and ensuring their rights and needs are addressed.

• Facilitate therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings, ensuring continuity of care.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
