TDS CGT-Viral Vector Development Co-Op
$23.5 - $52.5 per hourJohnson & Johnson
Johnson & Johnson seeks a motivated co-op student to support viral vector process development for cell and gene therapies. The six-month position involves hands-on laboratory work on upstream and downstream manufacturing processes, with exposure to process analytics and experimental design.
Responsibilities
- Support viral vector process development in laboratory and analytical settings
- Execute upstream and downstream process development studies under senior scientist direction
- Analyze and interpret experimental data using analytical and statistical tools
- Participate in Design of Experiments activities and technical discussions
- Maintain laboratory notebooks and documentation per regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Completed freshman year at accredited university
- Currently pursuing bachelor's, master's, or PhD in biology, molecular biology, microbiology, engineering, or related field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in laboratory
- Permanent U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship required
- No conflicting employment or internship commitments January-June 2027
Compensation: $23.50-$52.50 per hour
