Work Environment This full-time position is remote, allowing for flexibility and the ability to maintain a work-life balance while providing vital support to our community. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring consistent availability for our clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop tailored, personalized treatment plans using solution-focused interventions. Implement therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address various mental health issues. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines including HIPAA. Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to enhance overall treatment efficacy. Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality care. Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and available community resources to empower their journey toward recovery. Stay updated with the latest research and trends in mental health to enrich your practice and inform treatment approaches. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, addressing an array of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. This position ensures the provision of culturally competent care, recognizing and respecting individual differences to effectively support clients in their personal recovery journeys. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Strong understanding of solution-focused therapeutic techniques to address the unique needs of clients effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building and maintaining therapeutic relationships with clients. Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills to navigate complex clinical situations. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team, fostering an environment of mutual respect and support. Preferred Experience Experience working in a community health setting or with a diverse client population is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation effectively. Background in trauma-informed care practices is beneficial.
