Business Development Manager, Advanced Composites Romeo, MI $120,000 to $150,000 Per Year This company operates in the advanced composites industry, serving aerospace, defense, and industrial segments, based in Romeo, MI. The organization is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow the business profitably by developing strategic customer, supplier, and distributor relationships, and by building both short term tactical and long term strategic growth plans. Schedule Full time, based in Romeo, MI. Travel required. Compensation $120,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience. What You'll Do The Business Development Manager identifies, develops, and manages strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, and other key players in the advanced composites market, driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and by upselling and cross-selling to existing partners. This role analyzes market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform go to market strategy, and negotiates and closes complex deals with industry stakeholders to ensure profitability and long term partnership value. This person collaborates cross functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams to deliver tailored client solutions, and works with legal counsel and business management to develop customer agreements such as supply agreements, commercial agreements, memorandums of understanding, and joint development agreements. The role also includes attending trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to represent the company, providing regular reporting and forecasting on pipeline and revenue targets, and supporting product strategy by sharing customer needs and competitive intelligence with application engineering and R&D through the Product Development Process. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in a technically relevant discipline Experience working with manufacturers and customers in the advanced composites industry, including familiarity with materials, processes, or applications such as SMC (Sheet Molding Compound), BMC (Bulk Molding Compound), epoxies, fiberglass, or carbon fiber Proven track record selling technical materials and products Strong presentation and communication skills Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence customer decisions Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Willingness to travel locally and internationally up to 40% of the time Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of market trends within the sealants, adhesives, and advanced composite industries Experience with financial management and problem solving in a business development or sales context Experience participating in a formal Product Development Process (PDP) Compensation and Benefits $120,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off To apply, submit your resume for consideration. #J-18808-Ljbffr iLocatum
