TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Title: MedSurgical Float Pool Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a MedSurgical setting License: Valid state RN license required Certifications: Current BCLS certification required Must-Have: Proficient in IV start and telemetry monitoring Experience with electronic health records systems Description: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a MedSurgical setting. Maintain flexibility to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity as needed. Availability for weekdays and some weekends, including holidays, is required. Ability to handle patient ratios of 1:4-5 is essential. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary. Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail are required. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with trauma level II is preferred. Travel experience is required. Skills include accessing and managing ports, blood product administration, and managing dysrhythmias. Interpretation of arterial blood gases is necessary. Management of respiratory support, including BiPAP and CPAP, is required. Experience in wound care and tracheostomy care is essential. Familiarity with rapid response protocols is necessary. Candidates must be aware of the fingerprinting process and comply with credentialing requirements.
