Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.

• Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs, goals, and preferences of each client.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide therapy sessions.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure ongoing effectiveness and alignment with therapeutic goals.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for clients.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in mood disorders and treatment methodologies, proactively integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals facing various mood disorders, including anxiety and depression, as well as those seeking support for relationship and family dynamics. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, providing a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Hold an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to create a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach to client experiences and challenges.

• Show strong organizational and time management skills capable of handling a diverse client caseload and administrative tasks efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in outpatient settings, particularly with mood disorders, is highly desirable.
