The Vitalize Metal and Wellness Center is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to enhance our team. In this full-time remote position, you will provide essential therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups facing a range of mental health challenges. Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing for an optimal work-life balance. You will be part of a patient-centered, multidisciplinary primary care team that collaborates closely to ensure comprehensive service delivery. The absence of evening or weekend hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM) allows you to dedicate your time to patient care during the day, promoting healthier work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods to provide psychotherapy, delivered either individually or in group settings.
• Engage in effective case management, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care providers to optimize client outcomes.
• Maintain adherence to all mental health policies and procedures, ensuring the integrity of our behavioral health programs.
• Perform timely client intakes, applying mature judgment and sensitivity to facilitate a welcoming environment.
• Provide crisis intervention counseling to clients in immediate need, employing de-escalation techniques as necessary.
• Assess patients for referral needs, particularly for more intensive inpatient or specialty care.
• Conduct screenings for potential substance abuse, offering appropriate resources for those identified as at risk.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will include a diverse group of individuals facing various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders stemming from complex backgrounds. As a key member of our detox center, you will play an essential role in delivering compassionate care tailored to each client’s unique situation. Your ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse population is paramount as you help clients navigate their paths to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution with current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Demonstrable clinical skills with a strong foundation in crisis intervention.
• Exceptional communication abilities, with proficiency in both oral and written formats to deliver clear, impactful information.
• A commitment to teamwork, collaborating effectively with colleagues across various disciplines.
• Basic computer proficiency is required to manage patient records and maintain documentation.

Preferred Experience
