Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients, considering individual histories, presenting problems, and specific risk factors.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy in one-on-one and group settings.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage personal development, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies, allowing clients to learn from each other and share experiences.

• Provide crisis intervention services, employing de-escalation techniques and assessing when external support or higher levels of care may be required.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with a network of healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to treatment.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources.

Qualifications\n

Preferred Experience\n

While the required experience is two years, candidates with additional experience in school-based mental health settings or trauma-informed care environments will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits\n
