Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine client needs and appropriate therapeutic techniques.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, incorporating diverse perspectives and strategies.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic medical records (EMR) software for efficient documentation.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay informed of the latest advancements in mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Care and Connects Counseling Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population, addressing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, couples and family dynamics, and substance use. Your expertise in tailoring therapeutic approaches will greatly impact successful outcomes for clients from different backgrounds and ages.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of two years of related counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
\n
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to counseling practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.

• Proficiency in EMR software and a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
