Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their physical conditions and functional capabilities, setting a baseline for personalized treatment.
• Design and apply individualized therapeutic treatment plans based on specific assessments to meet each patient's unique rehabilitation goals.
• Implement various manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, adjusting approaches based on each patient's progress and needs.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, guiding them through home exercise programs, strategies for injury prevention, and suggestions for lifestyle changes conducive to recovery.
• Document all patient interactions, progress, and treatment updates meticulously to maintain regulatory compliance and enhance the overall quality of care.
• Regularly review and communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Stay up-to-date with advances in physical therapy methodologies and incorporate new, evidence-based techniques into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of patients ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to elderly individuals seeking to regain mobility after surgery. Our patient population frequently includes those dealing with orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, and pediatric rehabilitation needs. Your ability to tailor treatments to the specific needs of each individual will be crucial for their successful recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• At least three years of experience within physical therapy or a closely related field, showcasing a strong foundation in clinical practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various therapeutic techniques, with the ability to apply these skills effectively in an inpatient setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to foster strong relationships with patients and collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
