Work Environment

Located in the heart of Riverview, Florida, our rehabilitation center offers a state-of-the-art environment conducive to healing and recovery. As a full-time physical therapist, you will work onsite, collaborating directly with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals. Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing you ample time to focus on patient care without weekend obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities to determine individual objectives and treatment plans.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized assessments and targeted interventions.
• Formulate and administer tailored treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing mobility and functionality.
• Implement cost-effective therapies that promote improved range of motion while minimizing reliance on medication.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs, educating patients on lifestyle choices that contribute to their long-term well-being.
• Utilize various tools and EMR software, such as WebPT, to document patient progress accurately and foster communication within the healthcare team.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their therapy journey, setting achievable goals to help them regain independence.
• Continuously evaluate patient outcomes, track progress, and adjust treatment protocols accordingly, ensuring the utmost in patient care.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, consulting with orthopedic specialists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of all services provided, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical conditions, sports injuries, and age-related mobility challenges. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients of diverse backgrounds, ages, and physical conditions, tailoring your interventions to meet their specific rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• A valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and implementing effective exercise programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for fostering rapport with patients and team members.
• Ability to utilize electronic medical records software, particularly WebPT, effectively.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will be highly beneficial in this role, as it aligns with the demographic of our patient population. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a deep understanding of rehabilitation techniques will provide you with a competitive edge in delivering optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Insightful Motion Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including:
