Job Overview Part‑time instructor for the Professional Science Master’s Program (PSM) at Rutgers. Instruct graduate‑level courses during Summer 2026 term, covering a wide range of science and engineering disciplines. Responsibilities Instruct or co‑instruct graduate courses (lecture, hybrid, online). Develop course materials (syllabi, presentations, hand‑outs). Give constructive feedback and uphold academic standards. Respond to student emails and inquiries. Submit grades and evaluations on time. Adhere to university policies and educational best practices. Practice innovative instructional methodologies. Qualifications Minimum: Master’s degree in a related field and/or relevant industry experience; proficiency to teach graduate level. Doctoral degree preferred and prior teaching experience valued. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of agricultural, biotechnology, environmental, food, life, engineering, pharmacology, computer, or business sciences. Experience with online or hybrid teaching.
