In this full-time position, you’ll work with an engaging group of learners in a self-contained, functional curriculum classroom with the support of two paraprofessionals and a Registered Behavior Technician. Your Key Qualifications:

• Current Georgia SPED GaPSC Certification with Special Education content through 8th grade
• Adapted Curriculum Endorsement required (pending credentials will be considered)
• Experience in a self-contained or special education classroom, particularly with lower-functioning or high-needs populations
• Commitment to implementing functional curricula and individualized learning plans
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with support staff and related service providers

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing specialized instruction for high school students using adapted, functional curriculum
• Developing, modifying, and implementing IEPs to ensure individualized progress
• Collaborating with two paraprofessionals and a Registered Behavior Technician to create a productive, supportive classroom environment
• Collecting data, monitoring student progress, and communicating outcomes with educational teams and families
• Assisting students with life skills, behavior management, and academic development
