While the role is primarily virtual, you will have access to our outpatient office resources as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments through interviews, questionnaires, and case documentation to understand clients’ mental and emotional health needs.

• Formulate and implement tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing specific concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions designed to foster discussions and promote healing.
\n
• Track and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure the achievement of clinical goals.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to enhance comprehensive care.

• Provide support and guidance to family members of clients, offering strategies to manage mental health challenges and promoting a supportive home environment.

• Utilize electronic health record systems proficiently to maintain accurate client documentation, treatment notes, and progress reports.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with mental health disorders, couples facing relationship challenges, and families navigating complex emotional dynamics. The goal of our practice is to equip clients with tools and strategies required for improvement in their daily functioning and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or similar is preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas is mandatory.
\n
• Successful completion and passing of assessment examinations, such as the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively documenting client interactions and collaborating with the treatment team.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a strong desire to support clients through their mental health journey.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a counseling role, focusing on mental health and psychological services.

• Proficiency with electronic health records, particularly AVATAR, is highly desirable.
\n
• Experience in handling various mental health conditions, co-occurring disorders, and an understanding of the impact of addiction on mental health.

• Familiarity with American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and methodologies in psychotherapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
