Key Responsibilities

• Engage in a rotating schedule of outpatient, inpatient, and post-procedure follow-ups, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• On inpatient days, manage a caseload of 8-17 patients, performing rounds, new consults, and following up on previous cases.
• Conduct 50% of your clinic visits independently, while collaborating with physicians for the remaining visits; adapt to a fully virtual visit model as necessary.
• Treat an average of 8-10 patients in your independent clinic and 8-12 patients in shared visits, efficiently managing clinic workflows and patient schedules.
• Fulfill a four-day workweek, with shifts lasting 10 hours, ensuring a work-life balance free from night shifts, weekends, and holiday obligations.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing education and professional development by attending lectures and utilizing educational resources.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission requirements, ensuring cultural sensitivity, ethical treatment, and patient safety.
• Provide medical services that align with your competencies as mandated by your education, training, and experience, referring complex cases to supervising physicians as needed.
• Perform thorough evaluations and treatments for patients with acute and chronic health complaints, using evidenced-based practices.
• Conduct complete medical histories and physical exams, accurately assessing both normal and abnormal findings.
• Request and interpret necessary diagnostic studies based on patient evaluations.
• Order laboratory tests and therapeutic procedures, facilitating comprehensive patient assessments.
• Initiate arrangements for patient admissions and discharges, completing required documentation efficiently.
• Assist in the operating room under supervision, ensuring adherence to safety and procedural standards.

Qualifications

• A valid Physician Assistant licensure and certification.

Compensation and Benefits
