Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and psychosocial evaluations for students to identify individual needs and develop apt treatment interventions.
\n
• Design and present detailed treatment plans to the Collaborative Drug Recovery Program (CDRP) and treatment teams for feedback, approval, and continuous improvement.
\n
• Engage in clinical case conferences to discuss complex cases, sharing insights and collaborating with colleagues to enhance treatment outcomes.
\n
• Facilitate educational lectures focused on chemical dependency issues, enhancing awareness and understanding among students, parents, and staff.
\n
• Provide individual and group counseling services tailored to address chemical dependency, ensuring evidence-based approaches are utilized to foster recovery.
\n
• Implement therapeutic modalities for adolescents, their significant others, families, and multi-family units as assigned, promoting holistic recovery.
\n
• Deliver case management services, including resource coordination, referral assignments, and follow-up to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with adolescents experiencing mental health challenges, including but not limited to chemical dependency and behavioral issues. You will be instrumental in providing support not just to the students but also to their families, creating a broad network of care that impacts overall community health. The goal is to promote resilience and recovery while integrating treatment within the school environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current LICSW licensure in the state of Washington.
\n
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant post-graduate clinical experience in addiction medicine or therapeutic interventions related to mental health, achieved within the last five (5) years.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with school-based counseling programs and psychological interventions tailored for adolescents is advantageous.

• Previous experience in conducting group therapy sessions and educational workshops on mental health topics would be beneficial.
