Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to ensure cohesive mental health treatment plans are implemented, encompassing interventions within and beyond the clinic.

• Facilitate in-service training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and security staff, tailored to enhance understanding and management of mental health issues.
\n
• Proactively intervene in mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and crisis management protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of all clients.

• Attend and represent the organization in commitment hearings when necessary, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while advocating for clients' rights.
\n
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored for individual clients, focusing on their unique needs and circumstances.
\n
• Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and medical recordkeeping requirements.
\n
• Verify prior mental health histories of clients, including the assessment of any psychotropic medications, to gauge their mental health trajectory effectively.

• Prepare reports on client progress and program effectiveness as needed, contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
\n
• Coordinate post-release referrals and support with nursing and mental health staff to ensure continuity of care for clients transitioning out of the facility.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between $70,000 and $100,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
