Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a strong connection with clients and colleagues. You will be required to maintain regular communication using various digital tools and platforms, ensuring that each client receives the dedicated support necessary for their mental health journey. While the typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., occasional scheduling flexibility may be necessary to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough clinical evaluations, crafting personalized treatment plans based on each client’s specific needs using evidence-based practices.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to aid clients in coping and overcoming their challenges.

• Document all clinical interactions meticulously while adhering to HIPAA regulations and other compliance standards, ensuring client confidentiality and ethical practice.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow mental health professionals to enhance treatment quality through collective expertise.

• Engage in regular case consultations and peer reviews to share best practices, insights, and foster continuous improvement within the team.

• Guide clients and their families in understanding mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge.

• Stay informed of current research and advancements in mental health therapy to continually incorporate best practices into your client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor with Firefly Support Groups, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults confronting anxiety, depression, trauma, and various emotional challenges. Your role will involve not only providing clinical support but also engaging clients in their recovery process, helping them build resilience and coping strategies tailored to their unique experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), enabling you to practice in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
