Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group therapy sessions that allow clients to connect, share experiences, and gain insights from one another.

• Individual Therapy: Provide tailored, empathetic counseling, enabling clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, and assisting them in developing coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with clients to construct individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that cater to their unique needs.

• Progress Monitoring: Track client progress through regular assessment using evidence-based tools, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Team Collaboration: Work in harmony with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, facilitating communication and coordination regarding complex cases to optimize care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, addressing their unique mental health needs within an outpatient setting. Many of our clients are navigating transitional life phases like college, starting careers, or coping with relational issues, which can often exacerbate anxiety and depression symptoms. Your role is crucial in fostering resilience and positive change in their lives during these formative years.

• Master's Degree: A master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Licensure: Candidates must possess current LMHC licensure in New York State.
