Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the mental health needs and personal goals of clients, ensuring a personalized approach to treatment. Facilitate individual therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities to address a wide spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Collaborate with clients to design comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating measurable goals and evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique circumstances. Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring their safety, stability, and access to necessary resources. Engage with clients and their families in educational discussions about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and available community support services. Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress evaluations, in line with ethical standards and legal regulations. Foster a culturally sensitive environment by demonstrating respect and understanding for the diverse backgrounds of clients. Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure holistic care is provided, bridging services across different aspects of client needs. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients we serve come from varied backgrounds and face a multitude of challenges, requiring tailored interventions and cultural considerations. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Advance Healing Counseling Services, you will work with individuals of all ages, helping them navigate their mental health journeys with specialized support and guidance. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent credential. At least three years of professional experience in providing outpatient therapy services in a clinical setting. Demonstrated expertise in applying therapeutic techniques and a strong commitment to ethical practice in counseling. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Proficient in utilizing telehealth platforms and technology to deliver remote counseling services effectively. Preferred Experience Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain efficient client documentation and care coordination. A history of community engagement and collaboration with local mental health resources to support client needs. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
