Licensed Funeral Director

Overview Howard K. Hill Funeral Services is looking for a professional Funeral Director to assist with our three Connecticut funeral homes. We seek candidates who are intelligent, talented, caring, honest, reliable, and ready to work hard. The role requires compassion, attention to detail, and a strong desire to positively impact the families and the community we serve. This position interacts directly with families during their time of grief and aims to maintain the highest level of client satisfaction. The role requires integrity, accountability, respect, and empathy, with caring and compassionate service when families are most in need. The candidate should be computer and system savvy and reports to the company owner/CEO. Requirements Licensed for at least 24 months with a Connecticut license; proficient with embalming; professional decorum; high level of flexibility and accountability; ability to work well with a team. Responsibilities Provide services at multiple locations as required. Perform embalming and related duties as part of funeral service delivery. Interact directly with families to support them through their time of grief with empathy and professionalism.
