Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at AK Therapy Services, you will:

• Conduct one-on-one or group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Perform thorough assessments to gauge clients' mental health needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide interventions that address clients' challenges.

• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate, confidential records in line with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to foster comprehensive client care and treatment consistency.

• Establish and maintain professional rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy and reliability in managing appointments.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• A current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (such as LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or an equivalent credential) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy to various populations, including individuals, couples, and families.

• Clearances and the ability to pass a criminal background check.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain rapport with clients.

• Strong organizational skills, with an aptitude for effective time management and prioritization.
