Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific recovery goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and adaptive equipment, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage in regular evaluations of patients, revising therapeutic goals and implementing new strategies based on their evolving needs.
• Instruct patients and their caregivers in using assistive devices and techniques that promote independence in daily activities.
• Maintain and enhance professional knowledge through workshops, research, and participation in relevant professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The successful candidate will work with a wide range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, chronic pain, and neurological conditions. Our focus is on delivering compassionate and effective care to facilitate rehabilitation and support each patient's return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Physical Therapy, specifically a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems for patient documentation.
• A strong commitment to continuous learning and adapting to new treatment methods.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a patient-centered focus.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in outpatient Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Experience in developing treatment plans for a diverse range of diagnoses.
• Ability to provide mentorship to new graduates entering the profession.

Compensation and Benefits
