Key Responsibilities\n

• Function as an Independent Contractor, responsible for managing your clientele and maintaining efficient administrative duties.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, particularly focusing on senior students, to identify their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Facilitate engaging counseling or psychotherapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to support your clients’ mental health journeys.
\n
• Assist clients in accessing community resources, and compile a list of available support services tailored to their unique situations.
\n
• Document all clinical interactions and treatment plans meticulously in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of ethical practice within the school environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting high school students and their families, addressing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and coping with life transitions. You will be instrumental in fostering a supportive atmosphere where students feel heard and validated, ultimately enhancing their overall academic and personal development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.

• Proficient in the use of technology, including reliable access to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) for documentation and reporting purposes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective engagement with students, families, and school staff.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple cases in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassion and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is a plus, although not required.

• A background in school social work or experience working directly with adolescents and their families is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
