Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for new clients and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate client needs, and participate in the creation of crisis intervention strategies and behavioral guidelines.

• Document client progress and treatment plans appropriately, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with fellow team members to implement and revise positive behavior support plans, actively contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions.

• Maintain open communication lines with relevant service systems and community partners to coordinate care and resources effectively.

• Engage in professional development activities such as attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

• Participate in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring quality standards are met and upheld.

• Represent Medstar at community and state meetings, helping to advocate for mental health initiatives and support local partnerships.

As an LMHC at Medstar Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a wide range of clients, including those experiencing various mental health issues, substance use disorders, and individuals with developmental challenges. Qualifications\n
