This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to fulfill your responsibilities from the comfort of your own home. However, occasional visits may be necessary at our outpatient office in Syracuse. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidenced-based practices.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individual and group, providing clients with coping strategies and techniques to deal with their issues in a safe space.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client, ensuring inclusivity, cultural responsiveness, and adherence to ethical standards throughout the therapeutic process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records within our electronic health records (EHR) system, tracking client progress and modifications to treatment plans.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to clients needing additional support.

• Engage in continuous training and professional development opportunities to remain informed on the latest treatment methodologies and best practices in mental health counseling.

• Provide referrals to additional healthcare providers when necessary, ensuring clients have access to a full spectrum of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will be diverse, including individuals experiencing mild to severe mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Qualifications\n

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure, such as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling with a demonstrable ability to work with varied conditions and diverse populations.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and cultural competence in therapy.

• Proven ability to deliver both individual and group therapy using inclusive and responsive methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
