Work Environment\n

This role is remote, capitalizing on digital communication tools to connect with clients, families, and other professionals. The position allows flexibility in work hours while maintaining a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Depending on student and family needs, occasional evening or weekend hours may be required. You will frequently engage with school staff, making visits to various educational settings, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for students.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of students' psychosocial needs, considering emotional, mental, and social factors impacting their academic performance and personal lives.

• Work collaboratively with educators and families to design and implement personalized care plans tailored to address specific emotional and social goals each student aims to achieve.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, empowering them to cope with life transitions, academic pressures, and interpersonal relationships.

• Advocate for students' rights by ensuring they access necessary community resources, including specialized services, educational support, and family assistance programs.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress with regular assessments, thorough case notes, and collaborative meetings with educational staff and parents.

• Facilitate communication among family members to resolve conflicts and enhance supportive relationships that contribute to a student's well-being.

• Educate students and families about community resources and programs designed to foster social engagement and improve life skills.

• Adhere to ethical standards and current social work practices, remaining updated on relevant policies and regulations.

This role primarily focuses on students from diverse backgrounds who may face various challenges, including but not limited to emotional distress, family issues, and difficulties in navigating academic pressures. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably within a school or community-based setting, is necessary.

• Strong understanding of social work principles, especially those related to child development and aging-related issues.

• Excellent interpersonal, assessment, and counseling skills, with the ability to connect with both students and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
