Providing critical support to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the full-time remote Senior Law Clerk will independently analyze FOIA provisions, manage records for disclosure, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Key responsibilities Independently analyze and apply FOIA provisions, making disclosure recommendations for sensitive information Redact exempt content and prepare records for release while ensuring compliance with legal requirements Maintain case files and manage records in accordance with established procedures and timelines Required qualifications Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school Minimum five (5) years' experience as a Law Clerk At least two (2) years' experience processing FOIA/PA requests at a state or federal agency Ability to provide favorable credit history
