Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, assessing their intensity, frequency, and impact on daily functioning.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients' specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize established therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to support long-term recovery.

• Monitor and document clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Health Journey Wellness, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals struggling with mood disorders, those facing challenges due to homelessness, as well as refugees and survivors of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n
