Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions through secure video chat, ensuring a compassionate and ethical therapeutic environment.
• Implement solution-focused treatment modalities that cater to the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Design and develop tailored treatment plans that consider the distinct circumstances and mental health objectives of your clients.
• Facilitate insightful discussions that aid clients in understanding their emotions and relationships, leading to personal breakthroughs.
• Regularly monitor client progress throughout the treatment plan and assist them in acquiring healthy coping mechanisms to manage everyday challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on stable, low acuity adults who present with a variety of mental health issues. These clients may seek support for anxiety, depression, coping skills, and other emotional challenges. Your role is vital in creating a safe space for clients to explore their mental health needs and develop the necessary skills for improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Must hold one of the following fully licensed credentials: either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No limited or provisional licenses accepted.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong empathetic nature.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience

While not required, previous experience working with diverse adult populations and familiarity with telehealth practices will be advantageous. Experience in using electronic health records and managing remote patient interactions can further enhance your effectiveness in this role.
