Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients to accurately diagnose mental health conditions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that outline therapy goals tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to promote client growth and improve mental well-being.

• Establish collaborative therapeutic goals with clients and continuously monitor their progress towards these objectives.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults, presenting with a wide array of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will be instrumental in providing culturally competent care, recognizing the importance of understanding each client’s background and experiences to deliver tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in therapeutic settings, demonstrating proficiency in treating diverse populations.

• Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate effective communication with clients and team members alike.

• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of clients across various age groups.
