Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately gauge clients' emotional and mental health needs, utilizing screening tools and clinical interviews to inform treatment plans.

• Design and implement personalized therapeutic strategies for individuals and families, including counseling sessions that focus on coping mechanisms, grief processing, and end-of-life emotional support.

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions for families navigating the hospice journey, fostering an environment that encourages open communication and shared experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to work with clients and their families engaged in hospice care. You will encounter individuals at various stages of life, facing end-of-life issues, terminal illnesses, and the complex emotional responses that accompany these experiences. Providing empathetic support and guidance will be vital in helping clients navigate grief, loss, and acceptance, while also assisting family members in managing their emotional health during a challenging transitional period.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, our benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
