Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status through one-on-one sessions, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' unique needs and therapeutic goals, integrating evidence-based approaches and client feedback.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally sensitive practices to engage and support clients from varied backgrounds.

• Monitor clients’ progress throughout therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to create comprehensive support systems for clients, making referrals when appropriate.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to federal and state regulations.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including participating in training sessions and attending workshops to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

As a mental health counselor, you will work with clients across different age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds, aiming to provide tailored support that respects their unique experiences and cultural contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in Tennessee.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
\n
• A solid understanding of various mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients, colleagues, and external partners.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the ability to address difficult situations with composure.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
