Our client is a rapidly growing organization in the logistics industry that is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk . This company has a great work environment, and they are looking for a candidate with general accounting knowledge and experience.Salary/Hourly Rate:
$26/hr - $28/hrPosition Overview:
The Accounting Clerk will be reporting to the Senior Accountant and the Accounting Management. Our client is ideally looking for someone who is well-versed in accounts receivable and has a background in general accounting. Experience with accounts receivable and advanced Excel is an absolute must.Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities.
- Preparing and posting entries; assisting with MEC.
- Assisting with the coordination of financial audits.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and projections.
- Processing Invoices.
- General ledger and reconciliations.
Required Experience/Skills for the Accounting Clerk:
- Experience with ERP systems and applicable Accounting/Financial software.
- 3 - 5 years of experience.
- Analytical.
- Experienced in Excel (pivot tables & v-lookups).
- Experience with general Accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable is an absolute must.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus, but not a must.
